No Binding. Condition: Fair. Portrait of Otto van Rees. Born 4 January 1823 in Culemborg, The Netherlands. Died 10 March 1892 in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Wood engraving by E. Ost (fl. 19thC), after Pieter Adrianus Schipperus (1840-1929), c. 1890. Reasonable condition. Paper slightly browned and soiled, with some minor, faint spotting. Verso: Dutch text. Dimensions: 164 x 131 mm. Otto van Rees was Colonial administrator, Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies, Minister of Colonial Affairs, Colonial Governor of the Dutch East Indies, President of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands, and "King Otto". c. 1890. Print.
