The publisher's Antelope Books are intended for children of about 6 to 9 years of age, although they are equally suitable for reading aloud. "First they had to find a pony. Then a trap. Michael knew this, and so did all the other members of the choir. But how were they to find them? It was a difficult problem, and one that led them all into an exciting hunt." The book is bound in the original blue and pink cloth covered boards with titling and an illustration on the spine andf front boards and a list of other books in the series on the rear board. The case of the book is in very good condition with light bumping to the spine ends and top corners. The contents are tight and clean although this copy is from a school library and has some of the usual library indications. The most noticeable abe traces of a removed label on the front fixed endpaper, a school stamp and red cross on the front and rear free endpapers, traces of an erased stamp on the title-page, and a school stamp on the contents page.
