Boards show some age, repairs at shoulder, edgewear. Corners are bumped and scuffed. See photos. Spine with raised bands has gilt text and decoration, a little scuffe…d but bright with firm ends. Binding is intact, a little tender at covers. Some signs of separation/repair at inside cover hinges. End papers/ pastedowns of pale blue silk moiré have gilt filigree borders. See photos. Pastedowns and feps have some toning, cataloguer's marks, bookseller sticker. Frontispiece is present and has intact tissue guard. Illustrations are bright and clear.
