This is a hardcover book with 231 pages including some illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling, writing, or tears. The copyright page shows 1954 as the only date. The dust jacket is about 98% intact with some light chipping on the edges and a one inch chip on the bottom of the front. I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!

All edges gilt. This is an unnumbered copy of an edition of 2300. The only flaw noted is that the front endpaper has a very narrow worn strip down the lower 2.75 inches of the foredge.
