This anthology includes Andromeda, songs and ballads, poems connected with 1848-9 and a collection of Kingsley's early poems. Some of the poems included in the volume are The Starlings, The Night Bird and A Hope.With a bookplate for Percival F. Hinton, who was a local historian and scholar of Birmingham with a keen interest in poetry, to the front free endpaper. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some fading to the spine and some light marks to the boards. Some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine.
