As time goes by, the three characters discover that their individual lives have long been linked, without their knowledge, to a global financial conspiracy. Always governed by their very particular personalities, they solve the problems they are faced with, which leads them to create an emotional community that is completely unexpected. Over and over again they try to escape the author's clutches and practically force him to play along with them. Neither the novelist nor the narrator know what is going to happen in their story. It is a delirious experiment in which the characters have been left the task of creating the plot.
