Figures of a man and woman riding to the front and to the spine a lady seated and being attended to by an angel. Bevelled edges with front boards edged in black with figures of numerous hounds running around the edges. Not Inscribed. 406 Pages. Some internal cracking and contents slightly shaken. One or two early pages uncut. Ther are small tears to the top edges of two pages (not affecting the text). There is a frontispiece and twelve other highly coloured illustrations by John Leech protected by tissue guards. The frontispiece has become detached. There are some forty four(44) fine wood engravings throughout the text.
