Condition: Good. 1951. 1951 Reprint. 539 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 2 volume set in red boards with gilt lettering and illustration to the spine. These are in fine condition and the volumes are well bound with TEG. Untrimmed edges which have minor soiling/foxing but with the contents fine but with very slight foxing. All colour steel plates present and also fine. However the large publishers list to the rear of volume II has been torn away; that of volume I is present as normal. A heavy set for overseas shipping purposes and sent from our bookshop in the UK. ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; [14],298,32 + [12],286,[4] pages.
