Hardcover. Condition: Very Good-. Covers have light wear to the upper end of the front outer edge, a tiny notch to the front lower edge, and some slight corner and edge wear. The paper between the two covers is cracked. ; Approx. 9 1/2" wide by 6 1/4". Single piece of paper folded accordion-style into twelve pages, attached at the front end to stiff cardboard covers. Each page is illustrated with multiple black and white drawings, usually three or four. ; 12 pages.

This is an antique collection of souvenir views depicting "PIKES PEAK AND VICINITY." Circa 1890's (there is no date of publication stated). Accordion-style - there are 12 pages of images connected end-to-end within hardcovers. Nicely decorated front cover with gilt lettering and accents. The 1890's marked one of the most significant gold rushes in Colorado history at the Cripple Creek district, located on the southwest slope of Pike's Peak. Beginning in 1890-1891, this boom resulted in over 500 mines, producing massive amounts of gold. After a major discovery in 1890, the region became known as the "World's Greatest Gold Camp." Measures 9 1/2" wide x 6 1/4" tall. Condition: Light stain at the top edge of the front cover; clean back cover and spine. The accordion views are securely attached and fold in & out nicely as would be expected. There are some tears to the paper along the left and right edges of the spine. The accordion pages of images are clean with no notable issues found. Overall the souvenir book is in Very Good- condition.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1897 12 page sepia colored fold-out illustrations of the Pikes Peak and Manitou, all intact. Boards are jade green embossed paper with an elaborate framing and title in black. Spine is partially split. There is a pencilled notation "Colorado Springs, June 1897" on the endpapers. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Hard Cover. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
