Full-Leather + Cloth Reback. Condition: Incomplete But Good. Lacks 2 Maps & views. (illustrator). First Edition. Sm Crown orig. leather worn at edges and back, professionally respined in matching cloth with new eps. Lacks pp.71/2, 261/4 but with index and fold out mileage chart for hackney carriages. Despite its deficiencies this is still a useful work for its history of London, historic buildings, the streets (all listed up), leisure facilities, law courts, opera, theatres, museums, private art collections, hospitals, canals, river Thames, royal residences, and a mass of contemporary 1806 information. 432 pp in all, + publisher catalogue (interesting in itself). An invaluable reference work for social, national or local historians. All pages clean bright & unmarked Size: Sm Crown.
