Tips a little turned in, a few lighter specks along the front spine fold and the spine; endpapers sound and internally unmarked and tightly bound. Dust jacket is not price-clipped, has minor edge wear consisting of short tears, wrinkles, and small medium dark spots. 660 pages with index plus many B&W illustrations. In pocket at rear is a folded map, approximately 22" x 34", printed both sides in B&W; there is no wear or tears.
