Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. This G+ book was published by Juvenile Productions LTD, probably in the early 1950's; it is 10-3/8" x 7-1/2" with 93 numbered pages; if it was issued with a jacket, there is no jacket now. It clearly has been read and greatly enjoyed by numerous kids--it has signs of great use but not of abuse. The exterior has many signs of wear--all four corners are bumped with the boards exposed; both bottom edges have much wear, with about 1" of the rear board exposed; the red cloth spine is faded and bumped at both ends but not torn. Both front and rear panels have numerous small nicks and scrapes. However, the interior is quite different: it is very clean and completely free of writing, stray marks, stains and page damage; there is a page listing the frontis + 3 colored illustrations, all of which are present and firmly attached; there are also a goodly number of black-and-white illustrations. The paper is very lightly toned and is very flexible and not brittle. The hinges are very strong and not damaged in any way.
