A major part of the book is devoted to the description, classification and histopathological particulars of the neoplasms of the ear (Part 2) and to the pathology of hearing loss caused by otosclerosis and other bone diseases (Part 3). The pathology of hearing loss and of various syndromes of congenital deafness is discussed in Part 4, while Part 5 deals with most of the methods employed in the study of the ear by the authors.
