Mild wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners, with splitting to spine ends. Notable sunning to spine, with scuffing, staining and marking to boards.

The outers material on the spine in a couple of places shows small tears. 102 pages good clean and crisp with clear bold lettering. No foxing, previous owner written name on fly sheet. Frontispiece: pale colour plate of Patch sat on a door step "only a mongrel". Several other black and white illustrations throughout. Although the spine of the book is a bit scruffy, this is a delightful book to own and read.
