Softcovers. Condition: Very Good. Reprint. 1974. Reprint (the first UK edition was published in hardback form by New English Library in 1970). 143pp. plus a 1-page catalogue. Loren Adelson Singer (1923-2009) was an American novelist. He is probably best known for his 1970 political thriller The Parallax View, which was made into a successful film of the same name. It tells the story of a reporter who investigates a series of deaths of witnesses of the assassination of a presidential aspirant whose death has been attributed to a lone gunman. The book is bound in paperback form with colour illustrations from the film on the front and rear covers. It is in very good condition with some shelf wear and light soiling on the covers and light rubbing to the corners and spine edges. There is a small purple price stamp showing 12p. on the front cover and a crease running down the front cover about 1/2" from the spine edge. The contents are secure and clean with age-browning to the pages. There is no inscription.
