Oxberrys Dramatic Mirror Containing Biography (2 results)

Hardcover. Condition: Good. 8vo. 476pp Bound in original printed boards with decorative paper, untrimmed.(Most books were bound like this, the owner could then pay for a leather binding if they wish or could afford to do so) . Lacking the title page and the first segment is B, starting from the Preface. I also believe there may be prints missing. The b segment is loose. On the Preface, in ink is signed ' Emil A.W. Lawson', dated '1883' under that in different ink but the same hand is written.'I am Ready' . There was an actor called Emil W Lawson . He appears to have been born in Adelaide, Australia.Actor in 1867 and married an English woman and lived at 14 Albert St, St Pancras, London; possibly his copy! Condition: The boards are very dusty, corners bumped and heavily worn; the front board is detached. However, the Text inside is clean with the odd brown spot. size 20 x 12cm (8 x 4.5 inches).
