Gift quality 1st edition oversized volume measuring 12 1/2" at the spine edge, has 100 un-paginated leaves without tears or soil. Beige cloth boards show lightly bumped tips (not rubbed through) and slight darkened beige cloth at extremities. Tiny bit of glue rems near foot of spine on front board cloth. Original DJ in new mylar has small chips at spine ends but still displays well. A lovely compilation loaded with full page and vignette drawings of men and women astride and aside all in search of Charles James and the various natural obstacles encountered by these brave and foolish souls, followed by a short chapter on the hell-raising sport of HOG HUNTING (PIG-STICKING) and the hair-raising triumphs and pitfalls of the Show Jumping circuit in 'POT' HUNTING.
