No Binding. Condition: Very Good. Original pinback button and two original lapel pins. No date, circa 1935. Button is circular in shape and about 1 1/2" in diameter. The lapel pins measure about 3/4" x 3/4" and about 1/2" x 3/4." Button and pins are each very clean and intact except for slight darkening overall and some discoloration to metal portions of the button and pins. The button and pins are each Very Good. This is a charming and unique set featuring a pinback button (straight pin without protective fasteners is used as the backing) and two lapel pins (they have thread screw-style backings or fasteners) that celebrate the International Potlatch and Fleet Week that was held from July 29-August 4, 1935 in Seattle, Washington. The button and pins each feature the face of a figure done in the style of regional Indigenous art. The button is mostly yellow in color and has orange accents on the face and black lettering that reads, "International Potlatch and Fleet Week, July 29-Aug. 4, 1935; Member 7640; Seattle, Washington." The lapel pins are made of metal and enamel. One of the pins shows the face at center; a dark background; a bear, fish, and bird; and the lettering, "Seattle 1914." The other pin shows the face (no background) and the date, "1914." The faces on the two pins include white and red colors.
