Blue trimmed/gray illustrated boards have edgewear, fading, and light soiling. Pages are tanned and foxed, page 11 has a two inch pen mark and soiling. Pages are tight but spine is halfway cracked between several pages. Outer edges are tanned and soiled. Book is slightly bowed. Dust jacket is in poor condition. Jacket is soiled with heavy edgewear, large chips missing, and front/back flaps taped to book cover.

The jacket is worn and rubbed and as a couple of edge tears. The book is sound with secure inner hinges and clean text. SIGNED by the author on the front flyleaf. A collection of poems from this North Carolina writer, illustrated with drawings. Signed by Author(s).
