Condition: Fair. 1923. Seventh edition, new impression. 517 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth covered boards with gilt. Black and white diagrams throughout. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Some cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding slightly loose. Boards have moderate shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing, fraying and tearing to spine ends and edges. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 5th edition, revised. Polished mid-brown leather spine and corners, with gilt/dark-brown title labels, and pinkish cloth-covered boards. 154 x 240 x 43mm. (xxviii) + 520pp. Five raised bands to spine; edges and endpapers marbled; with appendices and index. Leather a little faded on spine, with a few minor surface marks and scuffs; prize sticker to front pastedown (The Surveyors' Institution Examinations, 1902); internal pages clean and crisp; binding tight throughout.
