Scarce.

A PRESENTATION COPY FROM THE AUTHOR WITH HIS SIGNED HOLOGRAPH INSCRIPTION ON TITLE AND A LONG A.L.s TIPPED-IN AT END. With a contemporary sheet folded to 4pp containing a manuscript list in a very neat scholarly hand of 69 'ancient camps or hill fortresses in the County of Devon' and enclosing a separate manuscript plan of Milber Down Camp near Newton Abbot. With the author's memorial bookplate, and trade ticket of Exeter Rare Books, on front paste-down. This valuable work appeared originally as a series of articles in Trewman's 'Exeter Flying Post' newspaper. A SPLENDID AND UNIQUE PRESENTATION COPY. Rare. Brockett 17040. Astonishingly, not in Anderson.
