Original wraps. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. Uncommon 1966 artist's book, SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR AND ILLUSTRATOR HARRY HURWITZ on the title page. Clean and Near Fine in its stapled, pumpkin wrappers. Also includes the announcement for the June 1966 exhibition in conjunction with the publication of "The Notebook", held at New York's Larcada Gallery and featuring Hurwitz's oils and drawings. Hurwitz's "notebook" revolves around the fictitious discovery of Da Vinci's son's seventeenth century notebook, "written in code and illustrated", allowing the artist to indulge his impressive flights of fancy. Signed.
