Bound in grey paper-covered boards with black lettering and a blue cloth spine and gold lettering. The pages are uncut. The extremities are rubbed and the top corners bumped. The boards are lightly stained. Bright internally.

Light grey paper-covered boards with black lettering and thistle device. Blue cloth spine with gold lettering. Outer and lower edges untrimmed. Corners bumped and rubbed and there is a small damp stain on the rear near the foot of the spine. The spine is rubbed at the ends with some wear at the head and the rear hinge has split a little at the top. Internally bright and clean with a name on the front fly-leaf.
