Add to basketPaperback. [10]p., portrait photo, softbound pamphlet in 8.5x5.5 inch stapled wraps. Ex library with accession and deaccession stamps, somewhat creased, good copy. Text allies Dowey with FDR, judicial reform, youth and health. Not much googlable on Mr. Dowey "physician and surgeon" except that he died in 1938 and was buried in Forest (1 "r") Lawn. The promotional material in hand makes much of his age (35) and energy (served "voluntarily" in WWI), and of the ill health of "Old Mrs. California".
