Add to basket47x37 cm. 1/2 red leather with morocco gilt label. Very well worn and rubbed at edges and corners, spine rubbed and chipped. Internally, 117 maps in fine condition, including the excellent maps of Texas and Oregon Territory. This atlas is the direct successor to The Universal Atlas of S. The leather label on the front board still reads "Mitchell's Universal Atlas" however.
