Condition: Fair. Tan calf boards. Spine is split along its length. Shoulders are damaged with some loss. Staining to boards and edges are bumped. Internally the hinges are cracking. Pages are age tanned with some foxing and staining. Occasional pencilled annotations. Pull out maps are all intact with only slight creasing. Endpapers are covered in beautiful copperplate notes by the owner, Mary Blunt, and the dedication Mary Blunt 1801 from her good Mama is inscribed on the fep and rep and her name is also on the frontispiece. Mary Blunt was clearly an extremely well educated person.
