Octavo, original cream yellow glazed paper wrappers printed in green, few minor spots, bookplate of Nicholas Frederic Brady on verso of front wrapper has caused a light puckering of the wrapper, small gilt morocco bookplate of a bookseller below the Brady plate has slightly offset onto title, very nice, and preserved in a crimson quarter morocco gilt slip case with inner wraps. One of very few printed for the express purpose of securing the American copyright. Stewart 503; the very rare first edition.
