Missing one of three black-and-white plates (the missing plate is meant to face page 268), frontispiece intact. Binding is tight, sturdy, and square; teal cloth boards very good; white titling to spine has mostly rubbed away, but white and green titling to front board remains bright and bold. Small losses at head of spine and top corners of scarce dust jacket; small closed tear to top edge of rear panel; some rubbing; age-toning to spine. Interior is free of markings. Ships same or next day from Dinkytown, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Visible thumb-marking present. Pencil inscription to front endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Notable scratching and marking to boards. Mild crushing to spine ends. Moderate water stains to boards. Boards are notably warped.
