A presentation copy with Christmas 1928 inscription by Vaughan to the Rev.'d Bickerton Edwards on the front free endpaper and Vaughan's signature on the title page. "Heaven as a eutopia. Even monastic life. Inhabited by famous people." - Sargent, British and American Utopian Literature, 1516-1985, p. 187. Vaughan's 85-page utopian work is followed by six stories and "The Exile," a fantasy in verse.
