Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. The clipped dust jacket has heavy edge wear, with tears, chips and areas of loss. Moderate tanning to spine and edges.

Text block edges foxing and tanning. Endpapers and early prelims foxing and tanning. Previous owner's name in pencil on front free endpaper. Gutter cracked at page 58; single plate loosely load-in. Internally neat, clean and bright. Dust jacket has areas of significant loss, is foxing, chipping to edges; not price clipped. Includes black and white line drawings in text.
