First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Hardcover in Good-plus condition, small 8vo, 312 pages. Blue cloth with titles and rules in black, blue top-stain, fore- and bottom edges untrimmed. First printing (Mar 1930, Catalog of Copyright Entries). Tips and spine ends worn, outer hinges rubbed, leaves a bit tanned, binding tight, some soiling to boards, contents clean and unmarked. Bookseller's label on verso of back free end-paper (The Wm. P. Clarke Co. / Newport, R.I.). Bookseller accession no.: 09643. Uncommon volume. Chambers, 1896-1968) was a California-born writer best know for his pulp fiction. He served in the Navy in WWI.

Hard Cover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. Scarce early Chambers novel. Second printing, March 1930. Bumped and rubbed with wear and tears at the edges, spine darkened. Fore and lower edges of the boards heavily damp stained, but with no transfer to the text block. Rear hinge cracked.
