They provide detailed accounts of Napoleon's acts of state and military campaigns, his home life and daily routines, his physical ailments and personal obsessions, his love affairs and his relationship with Josephine. Author, historian, collector and publisher Proctor Patterson Jones (1916-99), had a lifelong fascination with France and its history, in particular the life of Napoleon. This book subsequently received the 1992 Literary Award of the Napoleonic Society. A massively heavy book, extra postage will be required.
