VG+/VG. 12mo. original grey cloth (a little spotted, a few marks, else clean & unmarked) in dustwrapper (price-clipped, rubbed & a little frayed); pp. 288 (last blank), with text drawings and an endpaper map by Bip Pares. The 'Black Jacket' Edition. A very good copy. [Neate S63: Shipton and Tilman carried out one of the great pieces of mountain exploration, penetrating the Rishi Gorge to the Nanda Devi Sanctuary].
