Hardcover. Condition: Good. xii, 242, 8pp. Blue cloth-covered boards with blind stamped titles on front, gilt titles on spine. 16mo. Cloth a little worn and marked, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, a couple of minor indentations on edges. Previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper. Text block edges and fere endpapers a little toned, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A collection of interesting legal cases. Herbert had the reputation of being able to produce accurate case histories, with discussion of the point so law but to do so with wit and humour in his narrative.
