Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Pencil scribbles to a few pages. Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are a mildly crushed, with small splits and chips. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Boards are notably bowed. Book has a prominent forward lean. Moderate water marks to boards and spine.

The front board is bright and clean. the top and bottom right hand corners are slightly bumped. The spine is rubbed at the top and bottom. The back cover bottom right hand spine hinge has a 2cm split. The bottom edge is rubbed. The front inside board is clean. The front end paper has a small inscription to the top. The internal pages are all bright, bold and clean. The rear inside board and end paper are clean and bright. Dust wrapper/ The front cover has chips to all four corners. There is a crease along half of the top edge. There is a tear running along the middle, running to half of the front flap and onto the spine, which has been taped to the rear. The spine has loss to the top and bottom edges. The back cover has a 3cm closed tear attached to a 8cm crease. There are small chips to the top and bottom left hand corners. There is a 6cm closed tear to the bottom left hand corner.There is another 2cm closed tear in the middle of the bottom edge. The rear flap has a chip 2cm to the bottom outside corner. The front flap has a crease to the top of the outside edge. Not price cut. The rear of the jacket has neat tape repairs to tears.
