Original political pamphlet for Congressional candidate Anthony Monteiro, the African-American Communist candidate for the 3rd Congressional District of Philadelphia, which states in part: "Anthony Monteiro's program, outlined on the following page, meets the needs of the overwhelming majority of people in the 3rd Congressional District-- Black, Puerto Rican, white-- all of whom suffer from blighted housing, poor schools, unemployment, high taxes, drugs and gangs.".
