Illustrated cover with all outer corners curled/creased, a few small spots to back and ingrained grey dust marking by spine. 243 pp., 100 ils, mostly in text but many full page; previous owner's name and impressed round ownership stamp top fr. end-paper, outer corner curling extends from both end into text, only fading out around pp.88-177, otherwise internally clean and unmarked. This is a translation of 1951 2nd French edition, 18.5 cm x 18.5 cm (i.e. square).

In all continents it exercises minds inspired by the same motives." The poet Blaise Cendrars replied "I don't give a hang for your Modular, It must be wrong because nowhere in the world can I find a flat." The same lament many Australians now have.
