Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Complete set of the Modesty Blaise series. Each title uniformly bound in hardcover from Souvenir Press; the lone exception being the short story collection Pieces of Modesty which first appeared as a Pan Books paperback original in 1972. Near Fine in like jackets as a whole with minor issues to a few volumes such as light foxing or a clipped jacket; over-all a very presentable complete set of this fun British series featuring the female response to James Bond - Modesty Blaise - the former drug lord turned government agent. This set is over-sized and quite heavy, so it will require additional shipping charges on all priority and international orders.

Soft Cover. The last title, which did not fit on the title line, is Cobra Claw. A total of 13 volumes, all of them. A very difficult series to find--at least in collectible condition. The first book in the series, Modesty Blaise, is in VG condition; the cover has alight creases but no reading creases. The second and third columes are NF+; the second volume has a fsaint reading crease at the bottom of the spine. The remaining volumes are Fine. The first two volumes were published by Pan; the next three volumes were published by The Mysterious Press; The next volume, Pieces of Modesty, was published by Pam; the next five volumes were published by Tor; and the last volume was published by Souvenir Press.
