Cloth. Condition: Good. No Jacket. General Editor C.L.T.Beeching. Assisted by Specialist Writers and Artists (Experts in their own departments). 377 pages. An attempt to satisfy a demand for written and pictured help towards improvement in the art of showing grocery and provisions and to place in the hands of the display man a manual of his craft. It is undated but judging by the illustrations it must date back to the first half of the 20th Century. Internally, this copy is clean and bright, although there is a small amount of water damage affecting the edges of some of the pages but not the text. However, the weight of the volume has taken its toll on the covers which are marked and worn and the backstrip is partially detached at the front hinge. Consequently, it is classed as a good reading copy only or as a rebinding project.
