Condition: Fair. 1942. Second Edition. 144 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth covered boards. Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Previous owner's inscription and label to front free end-paper. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm. Boards feel loose. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Boards have been bent creasing the cloth. Split at spine tail, front joint. Larger split at rear joint. Mild crushing to spine ends.
