Add to basketCondition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: None Issued. 1st Edition. Not paginated. 16mo. Hardcover. Photo illustrated boards. Illustrated by Whitney Darrow Jr. Book condition: Very Good. Some rubbing to extremities, interior super clean, Mr. Carson's mug smiling from both the front and rear panels. No dust jacket was issued f…or this book. For the collector of Carsonalia no explanation or expansion on this description is necessary. For the merely curious however we feel like it is our obligation to warn prospective buyers, valued potential customers, and other human beings in general: this is not a good book. There is definitely nothing funny about the humor. We were never big Carson fans, we admit, but Mr. Carson must have really been in some financial straits to associate his name with this book. The only positive thing we can say about the humor embodied in the text of this book is that it is not as bad as the illustrations. The illustrations (color duotones surprisingly well executed) have something repellent about them. Please. Carsonalia collector: good, appropriate; merely curious or some other motivation: move along, there's nothing to see here. A Signed by Johnny Carson copy was available on ABE at the time of this writing for $275. Ours (not signed by anybody) is yours for only $25. And we are seriously motivated to consider your best offer. We can hear Ed McMahn's ghoulish laughter with each page we turn. First Edition, First Printing with full number line.
