8vo. viii, 335, (1) pp. Publisher's brown cloth, gilt lettered to the spine, dust jacket. Frontispiece self portrait plus a handful of illustrations in the text. Tanning to the jacket spine, occasional soiling elsewhere, otherwise very good. The first Miscellany was published in 1958 by the Argophile Press bringing together epigrams, essays and plays. This revision "includes all of the original, and a good deal more - the complete text of the book without a title, with its eight line drawings; several hitherto unpublished drawings, including a self portrait; and Mr. Cummings' translation of Louis Aragon's poem, "The Red Front", with the French original (banned until very recently) en face.".
