An effective use of decentralized energy technologies is an option for already electrified settlements to get relatively fast relief from the present electricity crisis on local level.Interconnection of Micro hydro power plants (already electrifying the Village) is one of the option to provide additional electricity and to improve the load factor of the Plants. Hence, this case study analysis technically, economically and socially benefits from connecting Micro-hydro plant to form mini grid in the locality.
