Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 8vo, 160 pp, 20 black and white figures in the text, black cloth lightly marked on the boards, a small amount of spotting to the closed fore edges, the top right hand corner of page 156/7 has a tiny tear to the margin. Dust wrapper has a small tear to the front cover which is now protected but it retains the original price of 10s 8d, overall a very good copy for a post war production. A scarce book on the microscope by Dr Theodore Stephanides, close friend and mentor to the young Gerald Durrell.
