Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. XXiv pp + 433 pages to volume 1 + Xxi pp + 468 pages to volume 2. Some serious but mostly marginal equations and comments in pencil to some pages, but tidy and will be useful to researcher, illustrations throughout. Blue cloth with embossed titles on the spines, minor light surface rubbing, small oblong private library bookplate in volume one on dark green endpaper "Dr William MacVie, 214 Stanley Road, Bootle". 2 volume set very good.
