Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. One of the original 200 copies produced in 1940. This copy is a presentation copy inscribed by Shimozato to Yamanaka Chiruu, poet and colleague from Nagoya. Photos of Yamanaka are part of the work itself, and Shimozato's inscription appears opposite the plate showing Yamanaka. A very sophisticated work, and considered one of the most rare editions in Japanese photography. This copy with historically significant provenance.
