Hardcover. 14x14 inch spiral bound hardcover. Apparently meant as a salesman's sample, it consists of the actual paper paste-ons (front cover art plus rear blurb) for Hi-Fi records. Most notable are: "Selections from the Eddy Duchin Story" (nice full cover photo of Tyrone Power and Kim Novak) ; "Miss Helen Forrest-Voice of the N…ame Bands"; : Coast Concert-Bobby Hackett and his jazz band"; "Vlady-Argentina Today"; "Dick Haymes-Rain or Shine" and a selection of classical music. The rear cover of the folder is missing, and the front is soiled. The sample record is gone, with the sleeve still in place with some pencil inscriptions on it. The cover of one album (Sleeping Beauty) has a dogear, the rear blurb from another ("When in Rome") is missing, and each has a few keywords on the blurb underlined in pencil, o/w bright and clean. Unusual relic of the recording industry at the dawn of rock n' roll era. Music; ephemera.
