Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Second British printing, July 1957 (first printing was June 1957). With original unclipped jacket (12s 6d). Jacket has faults - namely a little patchy loss, browning (including to spine), few small tears, rubbing, foxing, edge/shelf wear and is a little grubby. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with minor pushing to a couple of corners and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine (not major). Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. End-papers a bit tanned. Top of pages slightly dusty. There is foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. No other faults. A solid copy.
