Very handsome cloth clamshell box with a magnetic opening, stamped in gilt with color cover plate by Brom and a color frontis by Frank Frazetta. Full color endpapers map of The Hyborian Age, colored specially for this edition by George Barr. A collection of eight of the finest Conan stories, including Queen of the Black Coast, People of the Black Circle and Red Nails. Arnie Fenner writes an 8page introduction, "Whispers of Immortality," describing REH's creation of Conan and illustrating the original pulp and book appearances of this work. Afterword by H.P. Lovecraft. This edition was limited to 500 numbered cloth-bound copies plus these 100 leather-bound, clamshell boxed copies. Signed by artist and editor.
