Now apparently extremely scarce early attack on racism by the late Phillip Tobias, the eminent South African palaeoanthropologist and leading figure in 20th century human evolution studies (instrumental in his work at Sterkfontein and with Louis Leakey at Olduvai Gorge among much else), as well as being a lifelong opponent of apartheid.
